I never really undestood the whole Texas Edition thing, just seems like a slightly dressed up 1500 with nice wheels. So I decided to create my own version of one so here we go......

Here it is with the Billy 5100's installed with a 1.25" lift adjustment. Not a huge difference but it tames the sloping stock rake. New wheels and tires should add to the overall stance.

Very nice. How do you adjust the new shocks for the 1.25" lift? I might have to try that.

if you look close ,there are 4 rings on the front shocks ,that is the location of the spring seat and adjusts the height ,,these lift to a max of 1.75 "

take them to a custom paint shop. they can paint it perfect for you i bet. a lot cheap then buying new ones

Powder Coating is 350.00, than I have the down time with no wheels on my truck and than remounting the tires back and fouth and so on. I have a buyer on my stock silver ones for $800, The new set is $985 I figure all total it costs me less than $200 to do the swap with zero down time other than tire installation. Thats my thought process anyway..
