Has anyone had this problem that I am having? The passenger seat bottom keeps making a clicking noise while driving under normal conditions. I found the problem being that the seat bottom has some play and the way it is clamped with the frame keeps popping in and out causing the noise. below is a picture of where the seat has play.

My 2015 Subruban seat is moving when I take left and right turns, is there a good fix for this? Is it the seat adjuster? Does the seat get shimmed? Does anyone know?

My truck has 42,00 miles on it so it is out of warranty..

I had the tsb done on my 15 a month or two ago and it's been rock solid since. No movement at all. This is the tsb with the shim kit and the extra clamps (black) next to the white factory ones. Seems to working so far. I didn't have a bunch of left-right movement before, but it was there and i didnt want it to get worse.

So far so good.

With this clamp fix, can you still adjust the seat? I'm concerned that I'm going to put this in and then my 5' tall girlfriend is going to try to move the seat and burn up motors or require me to get out a screw driver to let her adjust the seat to where she can use it.

The seat can still be adjusted any way you want. It does not affect the rails/tracks. The clamps just keep the seat in place horizontally.

So this doesn't fix the front to back rocking seen when the seat is adjusted all the way down to the floor?

This is for the right to left shift and clunk that happens when turning.

Anyone have a fix for the front to back rocking?

i have this same issue every time i come to a stop the back rest moves foreword and falls back its very slight but very annoying dealer said they couldn't duplicate it i call BS cause it does it at every stop no matter what position the seats in

I found that mine will only rock front to back if the seat is all the way down. If I raise it up a little, no more rocking.

This fix won't hold. I had the TSB done and it worked for about a year or so and then started moving again. Not as bad as before the TSB fix but there's still some play there that has since come back.

I just got my truck back. they replaced (so they said) the actuator and adjusted rails and re-tighten the bolt on the seat. It doesn't make clicking noises any longer but we'll have to see how long this lasts.

    • Looking for help troubleshooting a metallic like front end rattle. Figured I’d see if anyone had thoughts before I schedule an appointment with the dealer.   The rattle is fairly loud and occurs primarily when the front driver side wheel hits a bump, even fairly minor road seams. Sometimes does it when the passenger hits a bump but I don’t believe when the rear hits. Rattle still occurs when foot is pressing brake peddle so I think that rules out the caliper rattle I’ve read about. I’ve also checked the running boards and they are tight.   Most noticeable at slow speeds.    Any insight is appreciated.
    • We try to make cruise the coast. It’s where our favorite casino is. I only want to spectate. Never took a car. Always had one to take. I belonged to a club once. Even when I used to drag raced. It was during test and tune. Probably because I’m not a night owl, party person.
    • We had a pretty big cars and coffee in Indy this past weekend.  Pretty much anything and everything was there.
    • Good looking Olds, and TRX!   I haven't been into car shows either. I'm probably not a convert but I did push myself this year to attend a few select events to challenge some assumptions and try to experience car-based social clubs in a different way. I joined up with the local Hagerty group for some cars/coffee events, group drives. A month ago I showed my '94 Camaro I rescued last fall at Radwood. Had a good time, but, there was some sitting around with the car and that's the part of shows I don't enjoy as much. I prefer to be a spectator, walk the show, grab a burger, go home.   Radwood was the only era-limited event, but where it had strict model year limitations, it made it up in variety. Having Jason Camissa there was also a hoot.   Where I see old 50's car shows, doo-wop and winga dinga music stuff fading out, same with "only" vintage muscle clubs, it seems to be the activity-based clubs/events which are gaining strong popularity. Places where all cars and interests come together.
