Ordered an AT4 crew in Satin Steel with a 3.0 on 12/17. Haven’t heard anything yet regarding a VIN.Too close to the holidays. Tick, tock.

There won't be a vin until there is a truck to stick it on....

Should be able to get the order number from dealer and then get event code information - and if it's moved far enough thru the system, there may be a TPW (tentative production week).

When it has a VIN, it's moving down the line.

Heard from my dealer that my truck was built last week (w/o 11/30). Not sure if when it will ship but still hoping on a delivery to Phoenix this year. I would think that a market as large as Phoenix would have frequent deliveries. Hoping for the December incentives. I would guess it’s up to the dealer to write the contract for December with a later ‘actual’ delivery date.

Took delivery on 12/22/2020. Just under 90 days from order date. I think using an independent dealer may have slowed it down by a couple of weeks. 2021 AT4 Short-box with 3.0L Diesel and Carbon Pro edition. Waiting for availability of the Bakflip MX4 for Carbon Pro to finish it up.

Both V8’s are having supplier issues according to my dealer. They have a lot of the 3.0 Duramax trucks on the lots. They are moving the diesel motor thou.

An individual broker/dealer not directly affiliated with GM that sells any make/model.

Oh... But don't they still have to buy from or go thru the dealership?

Yes. And that is probably what causes the increase in lead time. I don’t know that for sure but it sounds logical.

Does your dealer have the allocation to get a 6.2 truck?

I ordered my 6.2 the last week of October with the order being accepted in late November, built early December, then it just was waiting to be shipped. Should finally get it next week. Hopefully your dealer has allocation to get a 6.2. If your going for the AT4 it may be awhile. Those are restricted right now according to my dealer. Two to Three months is the average to get a truck ordered.
