Anyone know what power the stock 5.3l is putting down with the whipple?  I’m thinking of taking the 5.3 out of my 2020 build and drop it in a Jeep JK.

My experience with superchargers and intakes is that a CAI will make a supercharger whine louder.  Is that the case here?

I was hoping for some increased whine as a secondary benefit, but i didnt notice much difference.

At idle and low rpm i have a slight noise that sounds like the tensioner. Hollow sounding "ting" ..... pause.... "hollow "ting".... pause .... repeat. Definitely seems like it'd be belt related, but could maybe be internal noise to the s/c compressor. Hasn't bothered me enough to dig into it.

Once you start getting into the throttle a bit, or a lot, she screams though. An evil and simultaneously heavenly scream.

Anything that'll make her scream like that when you make her go is worth it, imo

Havent heard anyone mention a cold air intake and a supercharger together. I installed the GM performance intake. I liked the rotofab and the afe, but with how the intake tube and the maf is mounted, they would have required some customization. The GM is a direct fit, which is what i wanted.

Definitely will improve airflow. Mainly installed as I'm looking to get a functional ram air hood evetually, at which point ill take the plastic top cover off. The hoods funnel air and dump right over the top of existing filter location.

Was this an easy install, no mods to the intake tube?

How are these superchargers holding up on your different trucks? Reliability issues? Was anyone able to unlock/tune the 10 speed controller?

I have had no reliability issues with the SC or related items at all.  The only issue I had was the high pressure fuel pump failing, but that is a common issue, apparently.  The canned tune isn’t the greatest, there is a little surging on acceleration and I have an issue where the cruise control will run away on hills with a load.  Generally, it is just awesome, though.

I am going to have all of the DFM related items in the valve-train removed, replace the cam and have it custom tuned, as soon as I find someone I can trust to do it.

Any updates on how yours is holding up in regards to trans and motor in general?

I have had no issues other than the high pressure fuel pump failure, which didn’t fail due to the SC.

I have a 2018 gmc 6.2 denalli 4wd that ate the cam so it got a tsp stage one cam to go with the LT’s, cai and 6th gen whipple 3.0 sc.  install was way more then expected as tuning both the engine and trans was a momma and I needed to install a high flow fuel pump as well as lt4 injectors.  Although faster it only ran 135+ in the 1/2 mile.  Was scheduled to get it to the 1/4 mile this Saturday but the rear diff blew up and apparently the 3.73 gears I had installed over 30k miles ago are out of warranty.

Dyno showed almost 600 whp.  May not get it back to the drag strip till fall of 25 and let it sit for a few months as the 900hp 69 Camaro has run substantially over budget😢

    • Are you playing Slide Down endlessly but your score is still low? Are you constantly crashing into obstacles as the game speed increases? Don't worry, this article will share 5 invaluable tips to help you master the race and impress your friends. Golden Rules 1. Look one step further. The mistake of 90% of new players is only staring at their character. The secret of experts is to look towards the top of the screen (where the slide is about to appear). This gives your brain an extra 0.5 - 1 second to process the situation and determine the direction of movement before the obstacle approaches. 2. Use gentle movements; don't swipe too hard. Slide Down is very sensitive. Moving your finger too forcefully or with excessive amplitude will cause your character to be thrown off course or crash into a wall. Practise moving your finger with small, decisive, and precise movements. 3. Don't be greedy for gold in dangerous locations. Gold coins are tempting for buying skins, but life is more important. If you see a gold coin right on the edge of a cliff or next to a spike trap, ignore it. Our goal is a High Score, and your score only increases if you survive. 4. Make the most of Power-ups. During the slide, you'll encounter items like Magnets (attract gold) or Shields (temporary invincibility). Never miss them! Especially the Shield, it's your "get out of jail free card" to help you get through those deadly fast sections. 5. Stay calm when speed peaks. When your score exceeds 500 or 1000, the game speed will be very fast. At this point, don't try to think logically; let your natural reflexes work. Take deep breaths and don't panic. Apply these 5 tips to your next game, and your leaderboard will surely improve dramatically. Good luck climbing the Slide Down leaderboard!
    • If you use compressed air regularly, one problem you cannot ignore is moisture. Water in the air line can cause rust, unstable air pressure, poor tool performance, and even damage to sensitive equipment. That is why I highly recommend using a desiccant air dryer. A desiccant air dryer is designed to remove moisture from compressed air by using drying materials such as activated alumina or molecular sieve. Compared with basic water separators, it can achieve much lower dew points, making it especially useful for applications that require dry and stable air. For workshops, painting systems, pneumatic tools, CNC machines, laser cutting equipment, and industrial production lines, a desiccant air dryer can make a big difference. It helps protect equipment, improve air quality, reduce maintenance costs, and extend the service life of the whole compressed air system. Another advantage is reliability. Many desiccant air dryers are built for continuous operation and can maintain stable drying performance even in demanding environments. For users who care about long-term efficiency and equipment protection, this is a smart investment. When choosing a desiccant air dryer, I suggest paying attention to air flow capacity, working pressure, dew point performance, regeneration method, and maintenance requirements. A good model should match your compressor system and actual air consumption. Overall, if moisture is causing problems in your compressed air system, a desiccant air dryer is definitely worth considering. It is practical, efficient, and highly useful for anyone who needs clean, dry, and reliable compressed air.

They were either out of order, access was blocked, or the hose a few feet too short and I couldn't get any closer without risking damage to someone's property.   https://postimg.cc/gallery/X5QJ55w
