Parts shortage from other places around the world is going to hit all the auto manufacturers hard.  Don't be surprised if you get delayed for months.

I ordered a GMC AT4 Carbon Pro with the 3.0 diesel on 3/5. Just found out today that my Production target week is 6/15. So much for the 6-8 week lead time I was told when I ordered.

Can’t blame your dealer or GM for that.

I ordered my LTZ 3.0 Duramax around 30 April, dealer called and said the build date is set for 22 June, and to expect delivery before the end of July... come on incentives stay high!

As of June it seems the good deals are gone. Inventory looks low and dealers only offering the 5500 off..atleast in my area.

Just bought a RST 3.0 Duramax over the weekend.  FYI Supplier discount made for just over $2900 savings off MSRP.   This dealer had five RST Crew and one Sierra SLE Crew all lightly optioned trucks alone.

You can use the chat feature at either chevrolet.com or gmc.com or ask your selling dealer to look up the status code for you. You will need the order number when you use the chat function. The selling dealer will be able to provide you with your order number if you don’t have it.

I signed the paperwork for a 2020 Custom on 6/1/20 and the truck was already at 4200. Three weeks later the truck keeps bouncing from 4200 to 4B00

My dealer placed my order for a 2020 Silverado 1500 LTZ on 6/12. No confirmation number as of yet. They said they literally know nothing right now and told me I might have to go with a 2021. I’m 2 months over my Sierra lease and just signed (the max) another 2 month extension.  I’m hoping GM works with me here while I wait.
